Kelly's Face craft
Kelly was thrilled when she discovered this craft, especially when she saw the “features” page filled with various eyes, noses, mouths, earrings, glasses, and a mustache! This idea was suggested by two LCL readers, Lydia and Geri. Thank you both for the inspiration! Lydia had the clever suggestion of laminating the pieces so Kelly could decorate and redecorate them using dry erase markers. Geri also proposed a similar idea this week, involving different eyes, noses, and mouths. Kelly decided to create a “set” face, carefully choosing which eyes, nose, and mouth to use for each face before gluing them down. I really love the laminating idea—it will definitely be a fun activity for a rainy day, which seems to have been the norm for the past two weeks!
