Making a Cardboard Box Pinata for Kids
At Heritage Preschool of Pelham in Pelham, Alabama they made pinatas out of cardboard boxes which they decorated! It was great fun creating the pinatas and then knocking them down!
Materials Needed to Make a Cardboard Box Pinata
To make your own cardboard box pinata you need the following:
- A cardboard box (one that came in the mail from Amazon or Target works well)
- Glue
- Crepe Paper
- Candy
- Tape
- String
How to Make Your Cardboard Box Pinata
To create your own cardboard box pinata follow these steps:
- Get your box ready by filling it with candy.
- Tape the box closed.
- Put glue on one spot of the box and attach crepe paper.
- Keep applying glue and attaching crepe paper all around the box until it looks like a pinata
- Tape the string to your pinata.
- Hang your pinata up and start hitting it until it breaks and candy comes out!
