Mother's Day vase and flowers
I work with 3 and 4 yo and for Mothers day we worked with recycled items to prepare little surprises for the mothers. We use paper towel tubes that we use at the center because they were so much stronger than regular ones from home for the vase, as well as cutting out the bottom from cardboard. To make it more feminine I added pearlly lace and pearl string with hot glue and on the bottom I bought some pearl string stickers, the flowers were made from water bottle bottoms that the children painted and added pom poms and straws, it was a great success! I added the name and year on the bottom hoping the parents will keep these for years to come. The kids were so excited to present them to mom when they were picked up.
