Pre K Learning Centers
Learning during Center Time. Each day we do different centers. The students learn thru play or worksheets. Our first center could be dramatic play or construction. We always choose one. They can learn thru pretend or use their fine motor skills with construction center. The second center is always with Teacher on a letter we are working on for the week. After they can play with puzzles or color on the back of their worksheet, if done correctly. Sometimes students say "I cant do it" but I tell them as long as you try in our class that is all that matters to us. It gets perfected throughout the year! Center 3 is the learning center. There they do "math" worksheets with our aide in the class. We learn a number a week. Teachers aide guides them along. When they are done with their worksheet if done correctly they get to get a "job" from the learning center. These jobs all help with fine motor skills. Each month the theme of the center changes. Like example October is halloween. The kids have so much fun!
