Letter introduction with Blue's Clue's
I am using the "We just got a letter" song from Blue's Clue's to introduce the new letters. I bought a red chair and labeled it with vinyl and also ordered a mailbox where I place the letter being introduced. I play the song and one of the students opens the mailbox and shows us what he/she found in the mailbox. It is a new letter! I have thought to make it more complex. like add clues but for now I am keeping it very simple. It is just a simple postcard with the upper and lower case letter that is being introduced. I will probably change it up and add clues later.
The kiddos love it! They are all volunteering to open the mailbox and show us our letter!
