Name-Painting Activity For Young Children

To do this name-painting activity follow these steps:

  1. Use the permanent marker to write your child's name in big letters.
  2. Have your child paint each letter of their name one-by-one with whatever paint colors they would like.
  3. While your child is painting, discuss the letters being painted and what they are--for example, "The second letter in your name is an, 'a,' and do you know what the next letter is?"
  4. Once all the letters are painted wait for the paint to dry and display the creation!
