Body Art Template Drawing
We have been studied body parts in our english immersion program here in the south of Brazil, often we get together at the big table to do a group activity. On this table activity we spread different coloring materials like, coloring pencils, crayons, oil pastels, etc.
We gave the children a blank body template and asked them to draw different body parts like had eyes, nose, mouth, ears, hair, fingers, toes.
We went around the table asking them to tell in english what they were drawing.
The children loved the activity, would be nice to work on internal organs also as an extended activity and have them cut and glue the organs on the body.
As we go around the table asking questions we repeat the vocabulary that we are focusing on over and over again, this way the children can remember when we ask about a specific body part. The activity took about 15 min to complete.
