Build a T-rex with 1st graders
Before the crafting process, we watched a video - documentary about dinosaurs. We reviewed the letter D for Dinosaur. After watching the video, we talked about the types of dinosaurs and watched another video about T-rexes.
In the end of the lesson we made our own dinasours using the printable.
As early age kids, they had fun watching and talking about dinosaurs and building their own.
I used this activity for my first grade students and they liked it very much.
There is an example of the printable I used but in my opinion, you can use any other types of printables.
