Carnivores, Omnivores and Herbivores oral game
The children got a headband with the picture of an animal. There was a poster on the table with all the different animals (as my kids are English language learners). They asked questions like: Am I a herbivore? Am I a carnivore? Once they knew what category they belonged to, they asked questions like: Am I big / dangerous / brown /. ?
The class had to answer with good short answers: yes, you are / no, you aren't.
The first one to guess their animal won.
I had 5 headbands so 5 kids asked questions in turns. Then 5 other kids got a headband and an animal.
Good revision of: animal categories (food, questions and answers, waiting for their turn
