Christmas Activity - Reindeer Food
This is a super fun Christmas activity to do with your class. I did this with a group of 24 children aged 7-8. It’s easy to set up and ingredients are easy to come by. A extra pair of hands in the classroom is a good idea as the children need help to tie the bags. I played Christmas songs as the children made their reindeer food which added to the magic.
I placed the ingredients needed to make the reindeer food on a table. I wrote the number of spoonfuls needed beside each bowl (not shown in photo). Each child was given a cellophane bag to fill. Two children filled their bags at a time. Myself and another teacher helped the children to tie their bags and add the poem. They couldn’t wait for Christmas Eve to arrive!
