Clothes Study. Learning about clothes and when to wear what
We are learning about clothes this week. We are going to work on tying shoes and buttoning, zipping and other things pre-k children need to know. We are going to learn where to shop, how to take care of our clothes. We are going to learn about different cultures and their clothing. We are going to dress the baby dolls. We are going to dance with scarfs. I have a lot of different cultures in my class. I like to start winter off with this study and learn about all the different cultures in my class. We are reading different stories about clothes like Who Wears what? To Red Riding Hood, to Caps for Sale. I am bringing in a bunch of different types of clothes and showing my students when, where, how and to put on clothes and. We will talk about when you should wear what. This should be fun. I have to keep my students engaged with new and fun things. Learning about each other should be a great way to do this.
