Dino Week Sensory Tables Set up
We set up sensory areas with many different themes within Dino Days. We have a dino dig where we ground up cheerios to represent Sand. The kids can then use pain brushes to brush the "sand" around to expose the many different fossils. Then in another one we used brown kinetic sand to dig for dino bones. We have a table with a carnivore and one with a herbivore. The kids have to decide which dino will eat which items and then feed. them. We have a light table with dino xrays they can explore. There is, also, a playdough area where they can make imprints of different fossils. Our block area was totally transformed to dino blocks. We put sticker dino prints on the floor for them to jump between and follow.
