How to do your own dramatic play with baby dolls
You can have children in your classroom do dramatic play with baby dolls with ease! All you need are baby dolls and some items that are associated with caring for babies such as clothes to dress them in and toy bottles to feed them. If you want to have a more elaborate dramatic play experience you can also use baby strollers, or have cribs and baby beds--even a complete pretend nursery if you have the resources!
Having young boys and girls play with baby dolls for their dramatic play is a great way to practice building responsibility and for children who may become older siblings, it prepares them for when they will have younger brothers and sisters.
