Empty Paper Towel Roll Color-Matching Craft Activity
Kindergarten teacher A.Zaichko came-up with this color-matching activity that can easily be made out of household craft supplies and a leftover paper towel roll.
Once it is crafted and painted then it makes for a great color-matching game!
Materials Needed for the Empty Paper Towel Roll Color-Matching Craft Activity
To do this craft you will need:
- 1 empty paper towel roll
- Scissors
- Q-tips
- Multiple Colors of Paint (Acrylic or Tempera works well)
How to Do the Empty Paper Towel Roll Color-Matching Craft Activity
To do this craft activity follow these steps.
First, use scissors to make a number of holes in the empty paper towel roll, about 1 inch apart.
Next, use Q-tips to paint the holes varied colors, make an equal amount of each color you have.
Wait for the paint to dry.
Take the Q-tips and dip them in the different colors of paint, making enough ends for all the holes and their colors.
Cut the Q-tips in half.
Now put them in the holes, matching by color with the cut-end going in first!
