Event for St. Patrick's Day
We know St. Patrick’s Day as a fun holiday involving mischievous little leprechauns, rainbows, shamrocks, and of course, lots of green!
Elementary school students wore green clothes and some special headbands with shamrocks and prepared to have fun. Wearing green is a must on St. Paddy's Day. Children played a board game with dice. The playing field consisted of seven rainbow-colored tracks. They were looking for leprechaun's gold. We also made speed pyramids out of green glasses. Children were so fast. And most of all we enjoyed dancing to Irish music and passing a shamrock in a circle. When the music stopped, the student with a leaf went to the center and jumped. Also there were puzzles and colourful worksheets for students to get information about this special holiday. It was so fun.
