Banana Nutella Bear Cooking Class
I'm an English teacher in Korea. I teach after-school classes. For this activity, I read the storybook Where is Huggle Buggle Bear, and we made a bear-shaped bun using simple ingredients. Students learned words like where, on, in,and under. Where is the bear? It's on the chair. Where is the bear? It's on the table. After learning on, in, and under, students played a game using colored paper. Students will stand up. When I say the paper is under the chair, students have to place the paper under the chair. Students who do not placed the paper under the chair have to sit down. The last person standing is the winner. Kids enjoyed it.
