Fall Unit: Little Old Lady Who Swallowed a Leaf counting
Little old lady who swallowed a leaf
This activity was used virtually. The Students had to identify how many items they needed to count by using the dice. Then the teacher slides the amount over and engages the students to count with the teacher and ask questions while moving items. Such as, how many more. There is also a virtual dice on google that the teacher can use to count amount of numbers. Students can take turn spinning the dice and then counting out the amount of items for the lady to eat. You can also type the number after the students count the amount out so that number identification is worked on also. The slides can be used for your needs. please make a copy for yourself before you alter the slides. The Students enjoyed feeding the lady. Have fun!
