Flower Leaf Counting Activity for Young Students
This counting activity involves students attaching leaves to flowers that equal the number listed upon each flower.
This activity has two sheets--one with flowers and one with leaves. There are ten flowers total (One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, Nine, and Ten) and enough leaves to put on each flower all at once if desired (for example two leaves on the flower that says, "Two," and five leaves on the flower that says, "Five," and all the others as well). Doing this activity helps young students such as those in preschool or kindergarten work on their number recognition and count-up numbers too. This activity can be laminated as well to make it easy for multiple students to do it many times as they place leaves upon the flowers.
