Foam pumpkins for second grade
Step 1: Get foam balls that are the size of ping-pongs and orange, black and brown paint as well as popsicle sticks.
Step 2: paint the foam ball orange
Step 3: when it’s dry let the kids paint a face on it then cut a popsicle stick to make the stump in the top. Paint the stump brown and wait till it’s all dry then your kids will have a perfect pumpkin to take home and show their parents.
It’s the perfect Halloween themed craft. That’s easy and simple. I did it with second graders and they loved it. They were very excited to bring it home to show their family. It also works well with third grade I had many third graders join my class the day to do the craft I would say that older kids might wanna do something else but I work with the younger ones so I know this works good for them. If the instructions aren’t clear, I’ll try to add a picture next time I just didn’t get any cause I don’t have my phone when I am on the clock.
