Goose With The Golden Egg Craft
At Cadence Academy Preschool, The Colony, they did a fun craft based upon the old story of the goose that laid golden eggs. It was fun and the addition of feathers made it multi-media and extra cool!
Materials needed for the goose with the golden egg craft
To do this craft you will need:
- Blue construction paper for mounting
- Light-yellow, golden, and orange construction paper you will cut
- Scissors
- Googly eye
- Feathers (like from a craft store)
- Glue
How to make your goose with the golden egg
To make your goose with the golden egg craft follow these steps:
- Start by cutting a goose-shape out of your light-yellow construction paper. It is like a big body, a small neck, and a medium-sized head.
- Cut an egg-shape out of your golden construction paper--this is the famous egg.
- Cut a small triangle out of your orange construction paper--this is the goose's nose/beak.
- Glue your goose's body to the blue construction paper.
- Glue your golden egg behind the goose.
- Glue the orange nose/beak onto the front of the goose.
- Glue your googly eye to the goose's head.
- Glue the feathers all over the goose.
- Wait for the glue to dry and display your goose with the golden egg!
