Handprint Horses Activity
This paint activity is great for toddlers who want to make a piece of art with their hands! It is a handprint horse and the children at Courtyard Early Learning Center had a lot of fun doing this!
Materials needed to make handprint horses
To make your own handprint horses you will need:
- Brown paint--tempera or acrylic works well
- Construction paper
- Paintbrush
- Soapy water or a sink for cleanup
How to make handprint horses
To make handprint horses follow these steps:
- Take your paintbrush and get it full of brown paint.
- Cover your hand in brown paint with the paintbrush.
- Place your hand down on the construction paper.
- Remove your hand, it looks a bit like a horse!
- Wash your hands in the soapy water/sink.
- Use your brush to touch-up the, "Horse," you made.
- Wait for the paint to dry and display your creation!
