Topic: Shapes - Heart Craft
Kids are happy because they made hearts.Learning is fun in my classroom. I say this because I can see that on the faces of my students.
The heart templates were done by the teacher. After teaching heart shape and singing along, the worksheets have been delivered and they firstly colored the shape of hearts on the worksheets. After that, the teacher assistants and the teacher cut them out and made ready for the kids. If you have safe scissors in your class, it would be great to make the students use though. However, we do not have and my kiddos are really little ones. So, we were the helpers at that time. Going back to the heart craft, and a stick made off paper has been glued to the hearts.
It is a great activity for the Valentines Day and reviewing shapes- heart in the classroom with the preschoolers.
