Hedgehog project

Hedgehog project
This week our theme were hedgehogs. The children made their own hedgehogs using sponge printing. We used the colors of fall during this exercise: red, green, yellow, orange and brown. Using black paper gave an made printing a lot more interesting, compared to the usual drawing exercises.
Afterwards, as a counting exercise, for every time we clapped, the children had to put a toothpick into the pumpkin, making a pumpkin hedgehog!
With these tasks we developed their counting skills, spatial abilities and creativity.
