International Mud Day Activities
At Butterfly Hill Nature Preschool they celebrated International Mud Day! It happens every year on June 29th. You can still have fun playing in the mud even if it isn't officially International Mud Day, however!
Materials needed for International Mud Day
You'll want these materials for observing International Mud Day:
- Clothes you don't mind getting dirty
- Mud (dirt that has been made wet)
- Bowls, cups, and scoops that can be washed-out later
- Sandbox toys, toy cars, and any other toys that you are okay with getting muddy
How to celebrate International Mud Day
Celebrating International Mud Day is as easy as playing in the mud! You don't have to wait until June 29th, but you do need to be sure you don't mind getting some clothes and toys dirty. Playing outside is great fun for kids and getting messy can be good too, that is why International Mud Day was created and why it is so fun!
