At Mariner Montessori, they learned all about bees and how they make honey! It was great fun doing bee-related activities.
Honey tasting
The students learned how bees in different regions can get their pollen from different flowers and this results in honey with unique flavors. The class tasted different honey styles and shared what was their favorite.
Honeycomb model
The kiddos examined a model of a honeycomb up-close.
Learning about pollination
Classmates learned about how bees assist with pollination and studied pictures of the process.
Bee life cycle puzzle
Students did a puzzle all about the life cycle of bees.
