Kaleigh Kreshewski
Five senses activity preschool children
I made a poster board that had touch, taste, smell, sound and sight labeled on it. I then picked different textures based on the sense and I taped them to the poster board the children to distinguish between. The children loved it so then I made a kleenex box senses station for touch. They had to put their hand in the kleenex box with their eyes closed and then they had to guess and describe what they were feeling with their hands. After that I put different scents in the kleenex boxes for the children to smell and guess what product was in each kleenex box. The children loved these activities and we do this theme every year with each preschool class.
