Learning numbers and colors!
Hey ya'll! So my daughter really likes cats, she likes to paint also. She is 2 yrs old. So I came up with the idea to paint a picture, to learn her numbers and there is even a cat to paint too! For this activity I was teaching her the numbers 1 and 2. So I came up with a fun little way to do it. So I drew this cat and a flower on a plain piece of white paper. On the flower petals I put the numbers 1 and 2. I had her paint the flower petals according to the number colors that you see on the paper in the right upper corner. Number 1 is red and number 2 is yellow. So I got out the water color paints and she painted the petals according to the number colors. She also had fun just painting the cat. It was a fun little activity but also a great way to learn numbers as well as learning the colors red and yellow too!
You can do this with your toddler. It is simple, easy and fun!
