Leprechaun Outfit Craft
This Leprechaun Outfit craft is perfect to do as Halloween approaches if you need a quick-and-easy costume. It also is great in the Springtime for St. Patrick's Day as well. The children at Keri's Kids Daycare and Preschool loved making their outfits!
Materials needed for your Leprechaun outfit craft
To do this craft you will need:
*Piece of green construction paper
*Piece of yellow construction paper
*Piece of black construction paper
*Piece of orange construction paper
*White paper plate
*Orange paint--acrylic or tempera works well
*Scissors
*Glue
How to assemble your Leprechaun outfit craft
To create your craft follow these steps:
1. Take your green piece of construction paper and cut it into a hat shape.
2. Take your yellow piece of construction paper and cut it into a long strip.
3. Take your black piece of construction paper and cut it into a square with an empty center.
4. Take your orange construction paper and cut three long strips out of it.
5. Take your paper plate and cut a hole in the middle.
6. Paint your paper plate with the orange paint.
7. Wait for the paint to dry.
8. Glue your yellow stripe towards the bottom of your green hat.
9. Glue the black piece of paper onto the yellow stripe which is on the green hat.
10. Glue the orange paper plate to the bottom of the green hat.
11. Glue the orange strips to the bottom of the paper plate.
12. Wait for the glue to dry.
13. Show everyone your Leprechaun costume!
