Let's protect planet Earth
In our group with children of nursery age, we printed their palms in blue and green tempera on black paper. I cut out the planet Earth from white paper, and glued the remaining circle onto black paper. The children used a brush to apply tempera to their palm, and then left palm prints on paper. After that, with white tempera and ear sticks, the children tapped the white tempera around the Earth to make stars. The children were happy to participate in this activity, and some of them kept coming back to it. Along with this activity, the children were offered a poster with the planet Earth where the children could see what our planet looks like.
