Linking Number Cards Together Activity
At Cal Elite Preschool and Kindergarten they worked at putting the numbers 1 through 20 in order using number cards. The children used little links attached to the number cards to make a long chain of numbers that went from 1 all the way up to 20. It was a fantastic way to develop number recognition as well as fine motor skills (from using the links).

This was a fun counting activity and helped the little ones with their counting and understanding of how numbers, "Link," together in a manner. Such as how 2, "Links," with the numbers 1 and 3, but not other ones. When the children were done making their chains, they had teachers help double-check to be sure all the numbers were in the correct order.
