Walking Water Science Experiment
As a working from home mom, I have to entertain my daughter as well. So after doing a little bit of research on to what can keep her busy and still be educational I came across a post "How to make walking water". You only use water, food coloring, paper towels and plastic cups.
You can follow these simple instructions:
1. You have to place the cups in a circle then you need to fill each cup about 3/4 full of water and drop 5 drops of coloring in the 1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th cup. 2. Place the paper towels in each cup and watch as the water slowly starts to flow from one cup to another changing color as the goes. It is as simple as that!
For the little ones these experiments are so amazing as they can't believe that the water is walking from one cup to another. She enjoyed it so much, will definitely do it again and will definitely do some more research on how to keep her little mind and hands busy.
