Matching Activity - Animals and Their Young
The above reveals the list of animals and what their baby offspring is called. Most of the offspring look pretty much like their parents, only some animals don't. Firstly, have your kids or students study the picture of animal babies and their parents. Only then allow them to continue with matching activities.
You may laminate them for durability and make them as a flashcard. Subsequently, allow your kid to match each of them, either match the mother to their young or ask them to find out who is their mother. Furthermore, in between the matching activity, you may discuss with them how these offspring are being taken care of by their parents.
I am sure your kids or students will enjoy this activity. Have fun!
