Matching Alphabet
These cards are best printed out on card stock and laminated for durability.
They can be used in many different ways. Some of my favorites include:
Memory/Matching Game: Have them flip over all the cards face down and match the cards. This can be done independently as the cards are made to self correct.Puzzles: Leave them face up in a pile and have kids find the matches.Partner Generator: Pass them out to each student (works best if you have an even number, but can be modified for an odd and to find their partner they have to walk around the room making the sound that their letter makes. From this card your kids will learn about lower case and upper case letter. And also they will learn also the beginning sounds of letter which they need to match the letter and picture. When I do this activity with my preschool students they are very happy and fun doing this activity.
