Monster Activities
Enable children to create their own shape monsters by providing them with a range of different pre-cut shapes to choose from. You could provide googly eyes or other craft materials to give the children more options.
Promote the use of fine-motor skills by creating a monster for the children to 'feed'. Draw or print out a monster face and cut an opening in the mouth. Children then use spoons or tongs to pick up supplied objects such as plastic eyeballs, plastic bugs etc to feed to the monster.
Create playdough monsters using different materials such as plastic monster 'body parts', googly eyes, buttons, pipe cleaners etc.
