Mosaic Air Dry Clay figures
We had a great time in the public library with our homeschool group. We used air dry clay to make figures such as animals, bowls, etc. and then used lentils and beans to cover them with designs. We made fish, giraffes, pinch pots, tigers, people, and more! It was an inexpensive craft, using only the Crayola Air Dry clay and beans and things from the grocery store. The children had the opportunity to make more than one item, and they took them home to dry on the windowsill to hurry the drying time along. We made the items on paper plates to protect the tables, and I suggest running dental floss along under the item before it dries so it will separate from the plate.
