Outdoor Mud Kitchen Activity for Kids
At BrightPath Kids Maple Centre they had so much fun making outdoor mud kitchens! While it is still warm enough they went outside and brought an assortment of tools with them to enjoy testing-out different items with the mud and feeling an assortment of textures. It was messy, but oh-so-fun!
Testing out the textures
The kids had a lovely time mixing leaves with the mud as well as dumping some olive oil into the mud and observing how that made it much thinner and more liquidy. Everyone was able to have their own little set-up of a mud table and it allowed them to really experiment and explore!
Encouraging experimentation
The children really appreciated being able to play with the mud and test it out with various additions and subtractions. This activity encouraged all kind of experimentations and was a great time!
