Painting With Mops!
At the Academy of Early Childhood Learning in Columbia, Missouri, they did a fun activity where they painted with mops using bright Spring colors in their paint!
Materials Needed to Do Your Own Mop Painting
To do your own mop painting activity you need the following:
- A large roll of paper you can lay out into a single big sheet
- A mop (brooms work too if you don't have a mop)
- Paint--acrylic or tempera work best and you can use Spring colors or any seasonal-style you like
- Lots of space, you should be in a larger room
How to Do Your Own Mop Painting
- Lay your big sheet of paper out
- Squirt the paint upon the sheet
- Take your mop/broom and use it to spread the paint around. You can combine colors too for fun!
- If you aren't worried about getting messy, you can step in the paint too and make footprints!
