Paper Plate Turkey Craft for Preschool Students
This paper plate turkey craft is fantastic for younger children. It was very popular at Shepherd’s Fold Daycare and Pre-K where the kids in the age 4&5 room loved making their own colorful turkey.
By following the directions below you can make your very own paper plate turkey too!
Materials Needed
- A paper plate
- Brown construction paper
- Orange construction paper
- Crepe paper (various colors)
- Googly eyes
- Scissors
- Glue
Steps to Make a Paper Plate Turkey
Begin by cutting the paper plate in half.
Glue an assortment of crepe paper pieces all around the paper plate until it is full of fun colors.
Cut a circle out of the brown construction paper.
Cut a small triangle out of the orange construction paper
Glue the brown circle in the middle of the flat part of the paper plate (it can go over some crepe paper)
Glue the googly eyes onto the brown circle.
Glue the orange triangle below the eyes pointing-down so it looks like a beak.Your paper plate turkey has been crafted!
