Preschool Field Trip to the Farm
Kindergarten had a great visit to Four Town Farm (Seekonk, Massachusetts) this week ahead of the rain!
Students got to take a tractor ride through the fields and walk through the corn maze .
Farmer Bebe gave the class a tour of the produce grown on the farm and a lesson on vegetables, referencing Janet Stevens' book "Tops & Bottoms": Some veggies we eat the tops and some we eat the bottoms.
Farmer Lynn also showed students the carrot harvester and washer in action. Every student was able to bag their own carrots to take home!
