During the lesson, we discussed various shapes, such as squares, triangles, rectangles, and circles. We provided descriptions of each shape and identified objects that had those shapes. Students also came up with additional things, and we listed them. Afterward, students practiced drawing each of the shapes on a whiteboard.
We read stories about shapes and listened to songs about shapes. I showed different pictures, and we looked for objects around the class of shapes around us.
