Shapes-Within-Shapes Sorting Puzzle Worksheet
These free printable worksheets are great for helping students to sort shapes that then fit within shapes. These puzzles encourage spatial consideration as students fit the correct pieces within a shape to make it whole. There is a circle, rectangle, square, and triangle to assemble.
Students cut-out the pieces at the bottom of the worksheet and then put them into place properly (followed by pasting them into the spot once they are sure everything is correct) so that the complete shape is fully formed.
Younger students may need extra assistance with this project to make sure the shapes are assembled correctly and the inner-pieces are aligned properly, but once all the parts are right they will be ecstatic!
