I am social worker who works with children that have been exposed to severe trauma. I help children process and explore their world through play as well as assist them in connecting and identifying their emotions. I work with children ages 0-5 and their caregivers from all backgrounds and social economic backgrounds. Some of our kiddos have experienced the loss of one parent, witnessed domestic violence first hand or have suffered sexual abuse from a close caregiver. Through our intervention they are able to play out the trauma, speak the unspeakable and create a new story to move and grow forward in. We also assist their caregivers break generational trauma and rebuild the attachment that may have been ruptured or was never created due to cycle of violence of lack of parenting skills. We want to provide our families the best outcomes and give them a happier life
