TEACHING AN OLD DOG NEW TRICKS
Hi all - I am a speech language pathologist serving the 3-18 population in NY and CT. When the schools closed on March 16, we were all thrown into the world of teletherapy, and I for one am thrilled! While the learning curve was deep, fast, and furious - I did it. I learned it all: screen sharing, saving pdfs to Notability, using and sharing annotation tools, using animated books on youtube, Vooks, Bookflix, and let's not forget Boom cards. I thought I could do it all - And then - I became a Queen of the Green Screen - how energizing to be able to convert our sessions into magical interactive lessons! So much fun.What's really important to know is that I could NEVER have done all this without the selfless generosity of our amazing colleagues.
