They were given 2 choices - spoon and gator grabber tweezer. To be honest, it was easy for them to scoop and the pompoms with a spoon. Its another level (challenge) for the Toddler with the tweezer. Toddler were occupied with this activity that they don't mind doing more than twice.
Materials to make.
cardboard
glue gun
sticky tape (to tape the edge because the edges might be sharp)
colour paper
large bottle caps
Pre-print legs/ wiggles and the title (the very hungry caterpillar)
The children will be able to count from 1 - 10 too. You may also create the caterpillar with small bottle caps too an the children can count 1 - 20 depends on what age group you want to do.
