This matching activity features ten printable circular paper pieces with the numbers 1 through 10 which are matched on sheets of paper with addition and subtraction equations that require all of the ten different numbers placed where they belong.

There are four sheets total, two with the numbers and two with the equations that the caterpillars then are placed upon. You can help your kids to examine each equation and figure out what caterpillar card belongs on them. For example, the equation, "10-4," has an answer of 6, and therefore the caterpillar that says, "6," needs to be placed upon it. This is a fun way to do addition and subtraction while putting the correct number that answers the equation on its match!
