Alien and Ship Shape Matching Activity for Preschoolers
This shape matching activity involves matching aliens that have certain body shapes with their spaceships which are also uniquely shaped to fit their aliens!
The aliens' bodies are shaped like a number of well-known shapes such as triangles, squares, circles, and more. That makes this activity great for comparing how an alien can be shaped one way and its ship can be shaped in the same manner too for comparing-and-contrasting with other shapes!
Alien and Ship Matching Printables
These printables are over two sheets in total, with three shapes on each for six shapes in full (with the alien and the ship each making a shape so that when the printables are cut up there are 12 individual cards). You can laminate these printables so that you can do this shape matching activity multiple times with a number of children as well.
