Covid Christmas Ornament

Covid Christmas Ornament

This craft was completed by a Kindergarten class as a Christmas gift for parents.

The decorations were made using empty plastic ornaments. These can be found at most craft stores or online at Amazon. We used shredded paper on the inside and then glued on the google eyes, red pom-pom nose and then a medical face mask that had been cut to size. The antlers were made by twisting pipe cleaner pieces onto the hook used for hanging the ornament. All of the finishing supplies were purchased at our local Dollar Store. In total the cost was around $3 per student.

This craft was done over the course of a couple of weeks. The ornaments were stuffed first and then the other parts were glued on. Paper bags were decorated to put the ornaments in and then custom gift cards were made.

Our parents loved these because they were very reflective of Christmas 2020 :)

A nice keepsake to have as a moment in history!
