I can hear waves

I encourage children to paint waves and place the leaves in.

What you need:

- A5 paper for each child

- Blue paint

- Brushes

- Leaves

Emphasise the body part 'ear'. Say & show: 'One ear, but two ears. Let's listen for the waves with our ears'. Demonstrate the action and ask the children to repeat 'ear-ears'

Start with 1 or 2 children at a time then gradually increase the number according to readiness.

Student Assistant to bring a group of 2-3 children to the washroom so they can wash their hands.

* Let children ""Show and Share"" about their art work to their class friends. "
