Myths and Legends Theme of the Week
At Bullfrogs and Butterflies Preschool and Kindergarten they spent a week doing a unit dedicated to learning all about myths and legends. This resulted in all kinds of mythological and legendary creatures being discussed and created in crafts!
Legends and myths
The kids used chalk to draw such creatures such as mermaids!
The kids also painted such famous thought-up creatures as leprechauns.
Everyone also loved making their own Unicorns as a craft. They took craft paper and colorful items to make beautiful horned horses!
You can discuss myths and legends in your class too! Whether you're talking about the Loch Ness monster, dragons, or some other animal that people have never seen but often believe exists, your class is sure to have fun!
