Making Valentine's Hearts During a Craft Workshop
At Willowbend Preschool, they did a craft workshop! One of the crafts everyone did was making Valentine's Day hearts with markers as well as watercolor paints and mixed-media objects such as buttons.
Creating amazing hearts!
The students were so happy making beautiful hearts. They talked about how Valentine's Day often has hearts associated with the holiday and everyone discussed who the hearts would be given to. Many students planned to give their hearts to their parents, some to friends, some to other family members. You can do this activity with your own students by simply getting construction paper, scissors, and whatever mixed-media items you want to use from markers, to paint, buttons, glitter, and whatever else!
